Nikon’s flagship mirrorless camera, the Z9, gets its third major firmware update just 18 months after its launch. Firmware version 4.0 adds a new Auto Capture mode, which can fire the camera automatically when it detects motion, distance, or a specific subject, allowing professional photographers to multitask or leave a camera unattended when necessary. The firmware also includes enhancements to the Pre-Release Capture function and improved subject acquisition when using 3D-Tracking.
