One Future Football (1FF) is launching as the “world’s first global soccer league” aimed at first-time soccer fans. The virtual sports code consists of 12 weekly matches spread over two rounds, with 12 founding member teams across the world. To ensure everyone can engage, 1FF has 250 CGI generated players with backstories, including players with diabetes and autism. $3m has been raised in pre-seed funding, with tennis stars Naomi Osaka, Nick Kyrgios and Ons Jabeur acting as ambassadors.
